Join the Ghanaian Association of Minnesota for a special evening celebrating Ghanaian heritage, leadership, and community.
This year’s Ghana Independence Gala is centered on the theme:
Honoring Our Past, Empowering The Future
The evening will bring together community leaders, families, and friends to celebrate the legacy of those who paved the way while uplifting the next generation of Ghanaian leaders.

Attire: Formal or traditional African attire encouraged. Guests are welcome to celebrate Ghanaian culture through traditional attire or formal evening wear.
Parking: Convenient on-site parking is available in the connected parking garage at the venue. Parking is expected to cost under $10. Please allow a few extra minutes for parking and check-in before the program begins.
Seating: Guests who would like to sit together are encouraged to purchase tickets together or contact the event team with seating requests when possible.
Beverage Service: Alcohol service is limited to guests 21 years and older with valid identification. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
